Required documents
- a valid passport of a foreign citizen or a travel document of a stateless person;
- a completed, printed on paper and personally signed visa application form;

- In case you apply for a visa for 3 months and more, you should also submit a medical certificate that proves that a visa applicant does not have a HIV infection;
- Original invitation issued by the Main Directorate for Migration Issues (GUVM) of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia, short or full form of the electronic invitation of the GUVM, invitation of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Russia;·

- Original (not a copy) invitation from a company printed on a letterhead of a legal entity (only for the citizens of EU, China, USA, Japan and Republic of Korea).
An invitation should contain following information:
1) basic information regarding the visa applicant: the surname, first name, other names, date of birth, citizenship, sex, passport number, multiplicity of the visa, purpose of travel, requested period of entry, names of minor children who accompany visitor (if any);
·2) the full name of the host organization, its official address and contact information, the surname, first name, patronymic, and position of the person who signed the letter, the individual taxpayer number.

A foreign citizen can apply for an annual multiple-entry private visa (without limitation on the length of stay in the territory of the Russian Federation during the entire period of validity of visa) on the basis of a written application of a citizen of the Russian Federation for the entry of a foreign citizen who is his close relative or a member of his family (husband, wife, parents (adoptive parents), children (adopted), spouses of children, full and half brothers and sisters, grandfathers, grandmothers, grandchildren).
In case a Russian citizen is in the Republic of Korea, he/she should submit an application form personally.
In case a Russian citizen is in the Russian Federation, an original application form certified by a Russian notary should be submitted.

Applicants from countries other than Republic of Korea must also show their Alien Registration Card as a proof of permanent residency in the Republic of Korea.
In Accordance with Paragraph 4 of the Decree of the President of the Russian Federation dated August 19, 2024, No. 702, "On the provision of humanitarian assistance for individuals sharing traditional Russian spiritual and moral values" (hereinafter referred to as the Decree), individuals mentioned in Paragraph 1 of the Decree may be issued single-entry ordinary private visas for a period of up to 90 days.
These visas are issued for entry into the Russian Federation to subsequently apply to the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia with an application for a temporary residence permit, without considering the quota approved by the Government of the Russian Federation and without the need to provide a document confirming proficiency in the Russian language, knowledge of history of Russia and the fundamentals of its legislation.

Citizens or stateless persons permanently residing in the following countries can apply for the mentioned visa:
Australia, Austria, Albania, Andorra, Bahamas, Belgium, Bulgaria, Great Britain (including the British Crown dependencies and British Overseas Territories), Germany, Greece, Denmark, Ireland, Iceland, Spain, Italy, Canada, Cyprus, Latvia, Lithuania, Liechtenstein, Luxembourg, Malta, Micronesia, Monaco, Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Republic of Korea, Romania, San Marino, North Macedonia, Singapore, Slovenia, United States of America, Taiwan (China), Ukraine, Finland, France, Croatia, Montenegro, Czech Republic, Switzerland, Sweden, Estonia, Japan.
Required Documents
To obtain the mentioned visa, the following documents must be submitted:
- Application form the foreign citizen or stateless person (download).
- Valid foreign passport of the foreign citizen with at least 2 blank pages for visas, valid for at least 6 months from the expiration date of the visa, along with a copy.
- Completed, printed, and signed visa application form from https://visa.kdmid.ru.
- One photograph (3.5 x 4.5 cm, on a white background, showing a clear frontal image of the face without glasses with tinted lenses and without headwear, except for individuals depicted in headwear due to their national or religious affiliation).
For applicants who are not Korean citizens: a permit for permanent residence in the Republic of Korea – Permanent residence card (F5 visa).
